The "Yash Hat Trick" secures prime-time win

The sports media in Cairo spent the week wondering whether Yash Bajwa still had the hunger to win another league MVP over emerging stars like Buenos Aires rookie Ignacio Lorenzo.

In Week 4, Bajwa answered those doubts loudly.

Facing Lorenzo’s undefeated Condors, Bajwa completed his 12th career “Yash Hat Trick.” He rushed 20 times for 135 yards and a touchdown, threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Williams, and caught five passes for 65 yards and another score.

Lorenzo kept Buenos Aires in it with three touchdown passes, including two to Basudo Aguilar, and the Condors carried a 24-21 lead into the fourth quarter.

Then Cairo coach Justin Ramsey moved Bajwa out to the X receiver spot, where he caught the game-winning touchdown from his quarterback to seal a 28-24 prime-time victory.

Ramsey later told the press that Bajwa had even asked to return kicks during the game, a request that was quickly denied.
