Los Angeles went into the Gotham Dome in prime time and bedeviled the New York Towers 27-21. The offensive line relentlessly attacked New York’s returning defensive star Chris Walker, testing his healing calf with stretch runs that made the big man look a step slow all night.

Rodrigo Martinez was heroic once again, throwing two touchdowns and scrambling for 74 yards. Down the stretch, Anthony DeLuca proved exactly why the club traded for him, hauling in his 12th catch of the day for the game-winning touchdown.

Pure chaos erupted in the Central Division as Oslo defeated Moscow 16-13 in a game that ended with a clock controversy, dozens of fan injuries, and a full-blown riot.

Moscow star linebacker Andrei Koralev was ejected for an illegal drop tackle that injured Oslo running back Torfinn Erstad.
